ECONOMIST - CONSULTANT POSITION
About you
You are a graduate in Economics or a related discipline. Ideally, you have some post-graduate education, such as a PhD or a Master in Science.
You have over three years of professional experience working in an international consultancy firm or institution.
You are familiar with the Telecommunications industry. Ideally, you have experience in Regulatory or Competition Economics, in Research, or in Policy issues related to Telecommunications or the Information Society in general.
You are proficient in English and have an adequate knowledge of Spanish. Other languages are appreciated.
You are willing to travel and work internationally.
You have a commercial attitude, good presentation and analytical skills, ability for numbers, a professional attitude and experience managing projects and teams.
You have good knowledge of statistical and econometric data analysis.
You have the right to work in the European Union.
You have an entrepreneurial spirit, and would like to play an essential role in developing and growing a promising venture.
About the position
We are looking for an Economist to join our team of consultants and experts.
You will be participating in projects in the Telecommunications industry at an international level.
As an Economist, we expect you to carry out economic analyses, assess business and regulatory issues, advise clients on general Telecommunications and Information Society policies, and contribute to raise SVP Advisors’ profile as thought leader in the industry. Depending on your experience level, you might have direct management responsibility over junior staff.
